Dorena Rode
Dorena Rode Dorena Rode is an award-winning speaker, author and change facilitator. She earned her Ph.D. in physiology with an emphasis in alternative medicine from UC Davis with funding from NIH-NCCAM (National Institute of Health-National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine) and a degree in behavioral health counseling from Rio Salado. For over twenty years she has worked with individuals to help them get unstuck in all aspects of life. Her passion is to help people and organizations hange the habitual ways of operating that no longer serve them, so they can move forward and create the prosperity, relationships, health, and wealth they desire.

She has presented her ideas at Sutter Health, Drug Abuse Alternatives Center, Living Awareness Institute, UC Davis, Transitional Living Communities, SOMO Yoga Festival, and Joyful Harmony of Oakland. In individual sessions, workshops, and her Core Change Program she operates from the premise that each person has the wisdom within them about what is best for them and an innate ability to heal completely from any ailment or trauma. Her current work focuses on facilitating change by removing subconscious blocks using an instant change mental process technology she developed.

Dorena currently lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her partner where she enjoys her favorite activities of writing, internal arts practices, meditating, gardening and creating art (especially sacred geometry). She is working on her fifth book: Would You Like to Change That? – Delete Subconscious Blocks Instantly, due to be released late 2017. Her other titles are:
  • The Twelve Steps as a Path to Enlightenment – How the Buddha works the steps
  • Developing Awareness (Volume one in the series: The Answers are Within – A collection of personal stories)
  • Deconditioning Ground (Volume two in the series: The Answers are Within – A collection of personal stories)
  • Natural Approaches to Women’s Health
Dorena’s rich background includes extensive personal experience of trauma, nutrition, energy medicine, physiology, personal recovery, alternative medicine modalities, meditation, herbal medicine, Buddhism, and Christian contemplative traditions. Using the methods she now teaches others, she completely overcame addiction, depression, and PTSD in her own life.
